TOMORROW IS RACE DAY!!!

It's an exciting time--the day before the race! For those running, it may be your first time completing a 5k. Or perhaps you're aiming to get the overall winner trophy. Maybe you hope to best your neighbor or co-worker, or are just praying you'll live after those 3.1 miles. Whatever you're aiming for, bring that goal tomorrow. Focus on the WHY behind you're goal...and make it happen!

This is our second year organizing the Hanna City Hustle. I won't be running tomorrow morning, but I will be experiencing a bit of runners' high, as I have the joy of having a dream come into reality. I was on a long run down some dusty gravel roads 2 years ago when I started thinking about organizing a 5k in Hanna City, and a few weeks later, after just a mention of the idea to a friend (Pam), we assembled a team of three and were embarking on a new journey together--planning the inaugural The Hanna City Hustle.

I hope your experience with us tomorrow is memorable. I hope you enjoy the course, the warmth of folks gathered together to complete an athletic fete, & the chance to make new friends and cheer others on as they complete their goal. Thanks for joining our race. And special thanks to Pam "dancing queen" Winterroth, Laurie "tennis elbow" Whitmore, and (joining us this year/the brains behind the kids t-shirt design contest) Cheri "gets a nickname next year" Flynn.

P.S. I really enjoyed meeting all of you that stopped by our house to drop off your registration forms. That's a highlight for me each year.
